I'm working on a bipedal walk cycle for my final in an intro to Maya animation class. I am trying to set pre and post infinity on my curves, but the cycle is not repeating like it is supposed to. Either the torso stays frozen at the last frame, and the legs stretch back to the first frame and repeat the walk again, or the rig moves back to the first frame after finishing its first cycle, and the torso starts to crash downwards into the cog/legs. I have been applying the pre/post infinity to all of the curves in the graph editor for these joints: cog, right leg and left leg (only one joint, attached to each foot).
I am also somewhat confused about the difference between cycle and cycle with offset. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
