Has anybody else experienced problems installing from the update site ( http://eclipse-cs.sf.net/update/)?

On new installations of both Ganymede and Galileo, we find:

2. Start eclipse. Software Updates; Go to 'Available Software' tab. Click on the 'Add Site' button. Click on 'Local'. Select the folder where you unzip the file. Select 'PDT Feature'. Now you can start develop PHP application using Eclipse/PDT.
3. But I follow the guidelines and when in Eclipse I go to Software Updates/Available Software /Add site and when Install I get the message: Cannot complete the request.
4. Eclipse should display an Operation in progress. Dialog and take a little time to query the configured update sites and should find the new versions of ESbox, PluThon and Mica features (as well as possibly other installed features).
5. Your original request has been modified. 'Eclipse Git Team Provider' is already installed, so an update will be performed instead. Cannot complete the install because.

OS: Windows XP SP2 and Ubuntu 8.04 Eclipse: Eclipse Ganymede JEE package, based on Version: 3.4.0 Build id: I200 JDK: IBM SDK 5 sr6b Description Steps: 1.

• it fails with the error message:
  Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
  Software being installed: m2eclipse Maven Synchronization Plugin (Optional/Experimental) 0.0.3 (org.maven.ide.eclipse.checkstyle.feature.group 0.0.3)
  Missing requirement: m2eclipse Maven Synchronization Plugin (Optional/Experimental) 0.0.3 (org.maven.ide.eclipse.checkstyle.feature.group 0.0.3) requires 'net.sf.eclipsecs.feature.group 0.0.0' but it could not be found
